Origins in Visual Communication (1992 – 2000)
Our journey began in 1992 with the founding of Sign Factory, a company focused on the visual communication segment. For years we designed and manufactured ACM façades, signage projects and point-of-sale displays for major national and global retail brands such as Grupo Pão de Açúcar, HAVAN, Lojas Americanas, Pernambucanas, Santander, Renault, Kawasaki and Häagen-Dazs. Working with large corporations shaped our DNA of excellence and our ability to serve highly demanding standards.
A Milestone in Innovation and Global Partnership (2000 – 2003)
In the year 2000, in partnership with tesa Brasil, we developed the Hang Tab — an innovative self-adhesive tab for displaying products at retail. The success of that project earned us the invitation to take on the official distribution of tesa adhesive tapes in the Brazilian industrial market.
Combining our technical conversion capability with the distribution of high-performance tapes, the business grew quickly. In 2003 we decided to separate visual communication and industrial tapes into independent structures to guarantee absolute focus. NEO Brasil was officially born.
Expansion, Branding and e-Commerce (2014 – 2017)
With growth consolidated, we began our geographic and digital expansion:
- 2014: Opening of our NEO Rio branch in Niterói (RJ), extending our reach across the Rio de Janeiro market.
- 2015: Definitive closing of Sign Factory's operations, concentrating 100% of our investment and effort on expanding NEO Brasil.
- 2016: Renewal of our branding and launch of a new visual identity, aligned with the robustness and modernity of our industrial operation.
- 2017: Strategic entry into the digital market with the launch of our corporate e-commerce platform in partnership with Infracommerce.
Recognised Quality and Major Alliances (2020 – 2023)
Our continuous pursuit of excellence brought milestones and approvals of global standing:
- 2020: ISO 9001 certification, endorsing the international quality and standardisation of our processes.
- 2021: Appointment as tesa Platinum Converter Partner, the highest level of technical and commercial recognition granted by the German multinational.
- 2022: Opening of the Itapeva branch, centralising and optimising all the logistics intelligence of our e-commerce operation.
- 2023: Approval as an authorised NORBOND – SAINT-GOBAIN converter, adding the high-performance foam technologies of another world leader to our portfolio.
A Sustainable Future: Our ESG Commitment (2024)
In 2024 we achieved the prestigious EcoVadis certification, which assesses and validates our social, environmental and governance (ESG) practices. This achievement officially marks the start of our path towards ISO 14001 certification and consolidates our current mission: to drive NEO Brasil's industrial development guided by respect and a non-negotiable commitment to the environment.

Sign Factory is founded
Founding of Sign Factory Ind. e Com. Ltda., operating in the visual communication segment, designing and manufacturing ACM façades, indoor and outdoor signage, displays and decals mainly for retail companies such as Grupo Pão de Açúcar, HAVAN, Lojas Americanas, Pernambucanas, Santander, Renault, Kawasaki and Häagen-Dazs, among others.
Hang Tab launch
Launch of the Hang Tab, a self-adhesive tab for hanging products on gondola hooks. Developed in partnership with tesa Brasil.
Invitation to distribute tesa
The Hang Tab partnership with tesa led to the invitation to become distributors of tesa adhesive tapes in Brazil for the industrial market.
NEO Brasil is born
Given the success of combining conversion with tape distribution for the industrial segment of visual communication, the two businesses were separated into two companies with independent teams and structures. In 2003, NEO Brasil soluções em fitas adesivas was born.
NEO Rio is founded
Founding of NEO Rio, in Niterói, as part of NEO Brasil's expansion plan.
Sign Factory closes
Sign Factory ceases operations and the focus is concentrated on expanding NEO Brasil.
New visual identity
Farne Design e Comunicação was engaged to develop our branding and launch our new visual identity.
e-Commerce project
Launch of the e-commerce project in partnership with Infracommerce.
ISO 9001 Certification
Achievement of our ISO 9001 certification.
tesa Platinum Converter Partner
NEO Brasil is appointed tesa Platinum Converter Partner.
Exports and NEO US
Start of Hang Tab exports to the United States and of the process to open NEO US.

Founding of the Itapeva branch, where the e-commerce operations are concentrated.

NEO Brasil is appointed an authorised NORBOND – SAINT-GOBAIN converter.
